St Peter’s Hurling Club of San Diego was founded in 2010 by a handful of San Diego locals who had only heard of the sport and decided to give it a try. Since that time we have won 2 National Championships, in 2016 & 2018, as well as many other regional tournaments. Hurling is an ancient sport, some say 3,000 years old, with deep roots in Irish culture that requires teamwork, skill, dedication, and hard-work to succeed. As a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization our mission is to provide people off all ages the ability to learn and play hurling, while giving our time, and donating to, local San Diego Charities.
The St. Peter’s Hurling Club of San Diego is hosting a golf tournament to raise money on May 3, 2020 at the Carlton Oaks Country Club in Santee, CA.
