Project Description
GIS Surveyors performed an elevation survey of Poway Dam’s pre-determined monuments to verify if settling had occurred. The results of the survey were plotted and entered into a historical table on a Settlement Monument Control Sheet with historical data provided by City of Poway. This data will be reviewed and incorporated into the City of Poway’s Annual Dam Surveillance Report prepared by a certified engineering geologist. The survey included precision leveling across two portions of the dam structure. During the course of the survey, GIS Surveyors helped correct misleading and missing information in their historical data as an added value to the client.
