“Moving our country forward with innovative technology is vital in support of the state’s goals of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reduction and electric vehicle (EV) adoption,” notes Matthew T. Van Eck, Chief Technology Officer of GIS Surveyors. “By collaborating with West Power Energy, we can provide a holistic service when it comes to full-service design and implementation, creating a one-stop shop for your EV charging projects. We are excited to announce this collaboration and how it will benefit organizations throughout the state.”

In 2016, the State of California passed the Clean Energy and Pollution Reduction Act (Senate Bill 350) which includes reducing GHG to 40% below 1990 levels by 2030 and 80% below 1990 levels by 2050. The bill also requires California to double statewide energy efficiency savings in the electrical and natural gas end uses by 2030.
